Located in the heart of the Nozawa Onsen area, Oyado Nozawaya is a Minshuku. Minshuku is a family-run Japanese-style inn. Minshukus are renovated from ordinary houses to accommodate tourists, so prices are usually cheaper than ryokans. Services are usually quite limited, but each Minshuku has its own unique selling point, such as delicious food, small hot springs, and a rustic atmosphere. Oyado Nozawaya offers Japanese-style rooms and shared hot springs. All rooms have tatami flooring, futons, air conditioning/heating, a toilet, and a seating area. A TV and a safety deposit box are also provided in the rooms, and a kettle is provided in the common areas of the building. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Free ski equipment storage and luggage storage are also available. A Japanese breakfast and dinner made with home-grown rice and vegetables are served in the dining area. These must be requested the day before and are available at an additional cost. Please note that there may be days when we are unable to prepare breakfast or dinner, so please contact our staff for details. To get to Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, you can walk to Nagasaka Slope in 12 minutes. You can walk to Hikage Slope in 20 minutes by foot or using Moving Walk. Nozawa Onsen Central Bus Terminal is also a 4-minute walk away. At Oyado Nozawaya, we care about the safety and security of our guests, so our curfew is 10:30 PM. We open the door at 6:00 AM.
