In the restaurant of Hotel Romantischer Winkel, imaginative cosmopolitan dishes are served in the form of a fixed menu. Dishes such as Wagyu roast beef with teriyaki, maple syrup, white cabbage and root vegetables are conjured up from predominantly regional ingredients in combination with international spices and seasonings. The decor is pleasingly modern: a small booth with an open kitchen corner makes for an intimate feel, and the floor-to-ceiling windows next door afford a view of Lake Schmelzteich.
