The lovely Three Capes Scenic Drive skirts dairy operations, coves home to pelicans, coastal forest, seaside hamlets and sand dunes for over 60km/37mi. The State Parks were established on the headlands of three famed capes: Meares, Lookout and Kiwanda, each of which commands panoramic views of the Pacific. The lighthouse at the top of the hill of Cape Meares dominates the sea and the sight of the waves crashing onto the black rocks is unlike any other.
