The Town Hall, an enormous Renaissance edifice, is framed by two onion-domed towers and its façade is adorned by a pediment with a pine cone. On the left stands the Perlach tower, originally a Romanesque watchtower, which was raised three times over the following centuries. When the Alps are visible from the top of the tower, a yellow flag is flown. Inside, visit the Golden Room with its murals and coffered ceiling adorned in gold leaf.
