One of the finest and most embracing views of Bang Bao Bay can be had from the road that leaves the village of the same name. Less than a mile on, you will see the fantastic panorama of the long sandy bay (although it can disappear entirely at high tide) and the picturesque village on stilts. A few hundred yards on, the road grinds to a halt at the edge of the jungle. If you decide to venture further, lace up your walking boots and hire the services of a guide.
