In this narrow gorge the Noguera Ribagorçana flows, separating Aragon from Catalonia. The faces of this fantastic defile, joined by two suspension bridges, reach a height of 500m and are separated by a width of barely 20m. Thanks to a mule track hewn out of the rock into a corniche and punctuated with stopping places, you can savour the magnificent views (allow around 4hr there and back). To the south of the gorges, the blue of Canelles Reservoir's calm waters has an unreal quality.
