The museum is housed in the former Bijloke Cistercian abbey, which was founded in the 14C. The star of the show is the giant aerial photo of the city on the ground; it gives an idea of the size of the port and how very close the cultivated areas were. In a unique historical setting, to which a fine glass building was added in 2010, the remarkable museum design transports you through the town's past, present and future. Temporary exhibitions.
