The Stevns Peninsula promises to wow visitors with a series of beautiful landscapes that are among the most varied in Denmark. Højerup Church (13C) teeters at the cliff edge. Legend may have it that the church moves inland each Christmas Eve, but the chancel collapsed into the sea in 1928! Several paths lead through the woods atop the white cliffs, which extend over 15km and stand 41m over the water at their highest point.
