Hafnarfjörður Museum is housed in various classified buildings, scattered about the centre. Pakkhúsið (Vesturgata 6) presents two exhibitions, one historical, the other presenting classic toys. Síverstens Húsiða, the neighbouring house (1805), showcases the grand interior of a rich merchant; Siggubær (Kirkjuvegur 10) presents that of a fisherman's maisonnette, inhabited from 1902 to 1978; lastly, Bookless Bungalow (Vesturgata 32) charts the history of local maritime trade.
