In addition to the Réserve Naturelle Domaniale des Hautes Fagnes, this nature park encompasses the Robertville, Bütgenbach, Gileppe and Eupen lakes, and the Our and Eifel valleys. It also adjoins the German Nordeifel nature park and together the two parks form the Deutsch-Belgischer Naturpark, covering an area of 2 400km2 (700km2 in Belgium) and joining the German-Luxembourg nature park to the south.
