This romantic-looking Mosan fortified manor with chequered walls and a moat dates from the 16C and 17C. Excavations have unearthed traces of a lakeside settlement dating from the Mesolithic Age. The castle houses collections of furniture, tapestries, paintings, porcelain and gold and silverware. Note the smoking parlour's fine silverware, the Brussels tapestry by Teniers in the library and an 18C harpsichord.
