This museum, Keflavík's cultural centre, occupies a number of interconnected buildings. The Harbour House (1877) was built for the rich Danish merchant Hans Peter Duus as a port warehouse, while the neighbouring houses were used for processing and canning fish. During your visit, you will see an impressive armada of 19C-20C model boats created by Grímur Karlsson. The other rooms host temporary artistic or folk exhibitions.
