It is less the Danish painting and sculpture holdings, of relative interest, that draw you here than the fine temporary exhibitions dedicated to 20C design. Drawing on the museum's collection, these exhibitions present, most notably, pieces by Arne Jacobsen, Poul Kjærholm and Børge Mogensen, huge figures in design. But the star of the museum is in the garden: Arne Jacobsen's summerhouse, with its furniture, set in greenery and overlooking the fjord.
