The Chiesa della Misericordia is interesting for its Baroque decoration (18C). The tomb that you come upon as soon as you enter is that of Fabiano Ciocchi del Monte, the eldest son of the dynasty's founder. To the right of the altar, pause to take in the angels elegantly holding back a curtain in a pretty (but unfortunately very damaged) fresco by Niccolò Soggi (1496).
