The new Sam Noble Museum of Natural History is the largest university museum in the US; its five galleries trace 300 million years of geologic history. In 1999, Sam Noble paleontologists discovered the world's tallest dinosaur, the giraffe-like Sauroposeidon, in southeastern Oklahoma.
