This wonder of geometrical complexity, built from 1730 onwards, is one of Baroque architect Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer's masterpieces. A complete visit (although the church is only open during services) affords a chance to scrutinise the admirable work by Dientzenhofer, who made the interior of this church an architectural gem. The monument's windows have the surprising feature of being placed at different heights, contributing to creating an effect of movement.
