Located 12km north of Almería, this Copper Age site was once a village which had up to 1 500 inhabitants between 2 700 BC and 1 800 BC. Here, you can make out the remains of a defensive system with walls and outposts, as well as vestiges of round dwellings, plus a necropolis containing a hundred collective tombs buried beneath an earth tumulus.
