The wonder, which occurred in 1953, was certainly not this sanctuary, a gigantic cone of concrete, built by the architects Andrault, Parat and Morandi and where the pilgrims abound in close-knit ranks. It was actually a picture of the Madonna which suddenly began to cry. Hence this impressive construction whose interior produces a great impression of vertigo and which commemorates the event.
