Latomia dei Cappuccini

Vale bem a pena as diversões
Local histórico e arqueológico
A opinião do Guia Michelin
In Antiquity, a latomia was a quarry from which blocks of limestone were extracted for use as construction materials. With its 40m-high rocky sides, that of Cappuccini is undoubtedly the most spectacular. Over the centuries, it became a Christian necropolis (4C-6C), then a lush garden belonging to the next-door Cappuccini convent from 1582-1866. In summertime, its quiet refreshing scenery is blissful.
