On Place de la Cathédrale, on the corner of Rue Mercière, the Pharmacie du Cerf (Stag) (1268) was up until 2000 the oldest working pharmacy in France. It is now a cultural boutique. To the left of the cathedral stands Kammerzell house (1589) adorned with carved timbers and panelling.
