This "underwater" preserve encompasses 20 islands and the treacherous waters off Tobermory. The remains of 22 known wrecks of sail and steam vessels from the mid-19C to the 20C can be viewed close up with scuba-diving or snorkeling equipment. Some of the islands and two of the wrecks can be seen on a glass-bottomed boat tour.
