This used to be the town's main thoroughfare before Pont Wilson was built, passing the role over to the Rue Nationale. Note the curious wooden figures sculpted on the imposing half-timbered house at N°25, and the sign À la Pucelle armée on another half-timbered house at N°41, a reminder that in 1429, Joan of Arc allegedly had her armour crafted here.
