Andimahia Fortress, built in the 15C by the Knights of Rhodes, houses two chapels. A path runs around the ramparts, an immense stone snake following the crest of the mountain. From up there, the panoramic view stretches as far as the Turkish peninsula of Knidos (Cnidus), to the southeast, and to the islands of Nisyros and Tilos.
