Wat Mangkon Kamalawat
Guia Michelin
Monumento religioso
A opinião do Guia Michelin
Wat Mangkon Kamalawat is worth a visit for its unusual atmosphere, which is probably the result of its triple use as a Taoist, Confucian and Buddhist temple. Once you've passed the jasmine flower sellers at the entrance, you'll come into the inner courtyard, which is a hive of activity, full of monks and worshippers. In a maze of rooms hazy with incense, portly Buddhas - a round belly was a symbol of prosperity - sit surrounded by altars laden with candles and offerings.
