This museum is devoted to antique art from the Mediterranean, spanning five millennia, from 4000 BCE to 700 CE. The visit takes in Rome, Greece, but also Egypt and the civilisations of the Middle and Near East, with a focus on sculpture and ceramics. The Oriental section showcases 350 works. The splendid Egyptian collection features sarcophagi, jewellery and statues.
