This museum has moved into barracks that were installed by General Haxo in 1826. The museum presents artefacts from the Neolithic Period that were found in the Grotte de Cravanche during construction of Fort du Salbert, Gallo-Roman and Merovingian archaeological collections (pottery, weapons, tools), and a collection of military art going from the Middle Ages to the First World War.
