A winding trail twists and turns up to Piedra del Molino, surrounded by austere mountains. This narrow road through the arid Tin Tin valley is dominated by the Cerro Negro (5 226m). Here, in the Los Cardones National Park, named after the great cacti (cardón) that grow as far as Cachi, you may be lucky to catch a glimpse of vicuna, wild donkeys, grey foxes as well as eagles and condors.
