Overlooking the river, the Château de Cénevières is a blend of 12 centuries of architecture. This large building has a host of unexpected features. Visitors get to see the 13C keep and two 15C main buildings linked by the 16C Renaissance gallery. The elegant interior contains some lovely surprises, such as the painted ceiling of the Grand Salon and tapestries from Flanders. From the terrace, there are fine views over the Lot valley and the perched village of Calvignac.
