This fine 17C residence was owned in turn by Pierre Gargam (Treasurer de France), Jean-Gabriel Legendre (architect who designed the Intendance) and the Dubois de Crancé family, from the name of the governor of the town. The two central dormers are original, the two others were added in 1886, to replace a bull's eye window.
