In this park, impressive red-rock formations soar up to 300ft. The Visitor Center provides a good introduction to this superb urban park. Its best-known formations are accessible by vehicle: Balanced Rock, Kissing Camels, Three Graces etc. Walking trails ranging in length from half a mile to 3 miles are also available. To the south of the Visitor Center, at the Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site, costumed docents portray daily life from bygone days.
