Temple of Apollo, Delphi

A opinião do Guia Michelin
The Temple of Apollo was built in the 4C BC. 60.3m long and 23.8m wide, it was framed by 12m-high Doric columns made from tufa covered with stucco. In the centre of the temple, the cella (sacred hall) was adorned with altars and statues; beyond was the adyton, seat of the Pythia. Although it is difficult to imagine the size of the building based on the ruins, the grandiose panoramic view over the valley and peaks of Mt Kirfis never fails to impress.
