This lively street lined with restaurants is the main thoroughfare of the newest part of the old town, corresponding to the old Croatian village which was entirely remodelled after the earthquake of 1667. Each house is built on the same model (with a well on the ground-floor, living rooms on the 1st floor and a kitchen on the top floor). Look up at the beautiful façades (particularly at N° 12, 13 and 14) and the narrow streets leading to the ramparts, adorned with luxuriant plants and washing lines!
