Salto del Limón is a superb 4km-long walk that will delight nature lovers. It winds through tropical forest and across fords, commanding fine views on the way to waterfalls (40m and 50m high). Against the backdrop of this grandiose landscape, treat yourself to a dip in a wonderful natural pool. El Limón village has no shortage of guides offering excursions, either on foot (1hr one way) or on horseback (30min), the least tiring and most pleasant option. Don't forget your swimsuit!
