The ghetto consisted of the present Via Mazzini, Via Vignatagliata and Via Vittoria. Three synagogues stand at 95 Via Mazzini, which were bequeathed to the Jewish community in 1481 by Roman banker Ser Samuel Melli. This complex comprises three temples for different rites: the Italian and German traditions and that from Fano in the Marche region.
