A natural haven in the heart of the city! This park, a favourite with the inhabitants of Guiyang, extends over an area of over 300ha, dominated by a hill covered with lush vegetation. Hundreds of monkeys accompany visitors as they stroll around the park. Built half-way up the hill in 1676, Hongfu temple has been completely rebuilt following its destruction during the Cultural Revolution. At the foot of the hill, nature has been tamed in typical Chinese style to create a garden with a lake, bridges and pavilions.
