Glittering with its white ceramics and Finnish granite is the Finnish National Opera House. Built on the Bay of Töölön by Hyvämäki, Karhunen and Parkkinen, it was inaugurated in 1993. Although it accommodates a broad repertoire of international opera, its programming also offers contemporary pieces, both national and international. The season runs from August to June.
