This cable-car takes visitors up to the Peyrou d'Amont plateau, a starting point for hikes. It continues onto the Ruillans Pass (3,200m) on the northwest slope of Le Rateau. From here, you will reach a cave decorated with numerous unusual ice carvings. The panorama is grandiose over the Aiguilles d'Arves straight ahead, Mont Blanc, the Vanoise and Thabor ranges in the background and the Belledonne and Grandes Rousses mountains to the left.
