On the edge of the modern town, near the Ciudad Jardín (Garden City) area, Doramas Park is home to the Hotel Santa Catalina and the Pueblo Canario, an unfinished project bringing together in one ideal village the most typical Canarian traditions: crafts, festivals, cuisine, architecture etc. A museum presents the work of a major Symbolist painter, Néstor Martín-Fernández de la Torre (1887-1938), and hosts folklore shows.
