The former Ludwik Geyer spinning mill (1835-39) is a gigantic complex. The Textile Museum, which occupies several buildings, provides an insight into the harsh reality of this industry. Visitors get to see the boiler room and machines, the working conditions, as well as the beautiful architecture of the main building. Behind the spinning mill, the open-air Museum of Wooden Architecture boasts a collection of eight characteristic buildings from Łódź at the turn of the 19C and 20C.
