Tucked away in the middle of the ocean, this paradisiacal cluster of islands, known as the "Seven Brothers", are a major breeding site for the seabirds and the sea turtles that live on the Dominican coast. The nearest island, Tercero, is 5km from the coast and the furthest, Arenas, is 13.8km away. The five others are Monte Chico, Monte Grande, Ratas, Tororu and Muertos.
