Although it has undergone numerous changes over the years, this impressive basilica is one of the oldest in the Netherlands, begun in 1000 and extended in the 12C. The royal doorway (south) was erected in the 13C. The side chapels, the north doorway and the cloister on to which it opens date from the 15C. The collegiate chapel houses the treasury with its rich collection of liturgical objects.
