In Jakobstraße, you will note the Old Post Office from 1574, its corner oriel window extending over three floors. Marienstraße boasts numerous patrician houses whose magnificently decorated doorways bear witness to the town's former prosperity. Herrenstraße also offers a number of fine oriel windows including, in particular, those at n° 1 (the oldest in the town), at the adjacent apothecary's and at n° 8 (1525).
