This 14C late-Gothic-style cloister is surrounded by arches that are slightly Moorish in appearance which rest upon slender yet elegant twin columns. The capitals, which are all different, are embellished with hunting scenes as well as an array of human characters, animals and symbols. The Monasterio de San Francisco next door is mainly used to house the town's archives and is currently undergoing signification restoration.
