The Plaine des Palmistes trail leads to the Cascade Biberon, a shimmering 250m/820ft-high waterfall in a stunningly verdant setting. Three ravine crossings require particular attention (take special care at the last one) and make sure you check water levels - the Biberon river rises significantly during heavy rain. It is well worth climbing the steep, narrow, but quickly negotiated path put in place by the National Forestry Office in 2019. At the top, you will be rewarded with a spectacular view from the metal viewpoint.
