The huge Gothic Cathedral of St Bartholomew has a number of remarkable features, including its 103m spire, the tallest in the country. The interior boasts a lofty reticulated vault, an early 16C chapel and, above the high altar, the Pilsen Madonna, a fine example of the late-14C "Beautiful Madonnas" style.
