The west of the Regional Nature Park of Lorraine, which lies between Verdun, Metz, Commercy and Toul, covers the region of the Côtes de Meuse and the Côtes de Moselle, planted with orchards and vineyards, whose plateaux are riddled with beautiful valleys rich in discovery trails and look-out points. The more humid climate of the Plaine de la Woëvre, which alternates ponds and prairies, is of priceless biological value. The Lac de Madine is ideal for swimming and nautical activities.
