The Rue du Bain-aux-Plantes is lined with attractive 16-17C Renaissance, encorbelled, half-timbered houses, with galleries and gables. At N°42 the tanners' house (Gewerstub) from 1572 is particularly worthy of mention. A street that is steeped in charm.
