Serbs settled in the area around Rác utca (Serb Street) during the Ottoman occupation in the 16C. Rác utca has a row of 12 magnificently restored traditional houses that have the feel of an open-air museum; an exhibition at n° 11 provides information on the history of the district. The church, Rác Templom houses a beautiful 18C iconostasis.
