Housed in Ostrogski Palace, the museum underwent major works before reopening in 2010 for the bicentenary of the birth of the most famous of Polish composers. The exhibition looks back over the artist's life through excellent reconstructions of almost 7 000 artefacts (manuscripts, letters, first editions, personal belongings etc). It also has cutting-edge multimedia facilities, including interactive games for children, enabling visitors to discover his music.
