The rooms of this former arsenal (1702-12) of the castle of Marienberg are home to a museum dedicated to the region's arts and crafts. The first floor houses the largest collection of sculptures by Riemenschneider in the world (80 works). Statues, religious gold and silver plate, Gothic easel paintings and examples of Franconian folk art can be admired in the superb vaulted galleries of the Echterbastei. The old cellar with its collection of old winepresses is also interesting.
